odinOS — for people

The human surface — a windowed operating system for understanding what the network is doing.

odinOS is where ODIN's live numbers are, and it isn't a dashboard. It's a windowed operating system in the browser — boots like a machine, opens apps in draggable windows, and lets you keep several things open at once, because understanding usually means comparing two things rather than reading one.

Why an OS and not a dashboard#

A dashboard answers questions you already know to ask. The gap that matters for ODIN isn't data availability — every figure is public on-chain. It's comprehension. Locked liquidity, curve floors, depth versus price: not complicated, but unfamiliar, and unfamiliar things need exploring rather than displaying.

So the apps are built to be sat down with. Most teach by letting you manipulate something — change a size and watch depth respond, move along a curve and see where the floor is.

What's there#

Roughly forty apps. Some of what they cover:

There's a casino. It's an anti-casino: the games are built so the house edge is the thing being taught.

There are ambient apps — a garden whose sixteen stones are the sixteen pools, a creature that grows over a real calendar year, a breathing exercise with real patterns.

Not filler. An OS people return to teaches more than a dashboard people check once.

The rules it runs on#

Enforced across every app — the same rules this documentation runs on:

Every APY reads as variable. Never offered, never projected, always attached to its window.
Unavailable is not zero. A figure that can't be computed says so.
No founder quotes. Nothing on the surface is a person's opinion presented as authority.
It teaches; it does not transact. No signing, no routing, no execution. Why.
A figure never appears without a way to reach its derivation.

What it isn't#

Not a trading interface, portfolio tracker, or signal service. It won't tell you what to do — the metrics are deliberately structural, not directional (LF is a thermometer, not a forecast).

It also isn't part of the protocol. If it disappeared tomorrow, the pools would carry on exactly as before. A lens on the core, not a component of it.
